Invented for this demo: Alderwell, its people and its rings. Mycelial is real.
A peer-run Grove for adults rebuilding after burnout. Garden tenders: Maren Ilves and Teodor Vasquez-Lund.
Alderwell is a small, tended Grove for adults rebuilding after burnout: nurses, teachers, cooks, engineers, anyone who ran too long on empty. We meet in small rings, keep each other company, and go at the pace of whoever is slowest that week. Peer support, not therapy and not a crisis service.
Its rings anyone can see
A ring is Mycelial’s word for a Pool §3. These are public, so any Kindling app may read them, each under its own name, charter and tags.
Co-hosts · Alderwell Co-hosts
Public: any app may read itGarden tender: Maren Ilves and Teodor Vasquez-Lund3 people
The people who open Alderwell’s gatherings: they start the room, welcome whoever is new, and close it gently. Co-hosting is a turn, not a title. Ask a garden tender if you would like a turn.
Public: any app may read itGarden tender: Teodor Vasquez-Lund and Maren Ilves3 people
The three people who keep Alderwell’s agreements, open each proposal’s comment period, and answer for the Grove’s decisions. Any member can write to them, and any member can ask for a steward to be recalled.
They are marked sensitive, as RFC 0014’s draft describes, so they are never listed in Alderwell’s discovery file, and only Mycelial shows them, to the people in them. Every other app leaves them where they are.
How to join
Ask a garden tender. Mycelial is opening by invitation, so for now Alderwell is a demo you can look around: open Alderwell in Mycelial.
Mycelial is made by TranquilTech, which also maintains Kindling. It follows the same rules as every app here, and gets no special access.
